The Crown Prince’s visit will further reinforce strong India-UAE bilateral relations, says MEA
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will pay an official visit to India on September 9-10, 2024. This visit, his first to India as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, comes at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The visiting dignitary will be accompanied by several Ministers from the UAE government and a business delegation, India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said as it announced the visit on Saturday (September 7, 2024).

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi will meet Prime Minister Modi and hold discussions on a wide range of areas of bilateral cooperation on September 9, 2024. He is also scheduled to call on President Droupadi Murmu and visit Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

On Tuesday (September 10, 2024), the Crown Prince will visit Mumbai to participate in a Business Forum, in which business leaders from both countries will participate.

The visit comes a little over a month after External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar traveled to Abu Dhabi to review the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with his counterpart, Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to the MEA, the two ministers reviewed the multi-faceted India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and expressed happiness at the substantive progress in diverse areas of bilateral cooperation including commercial and economic collaboration, fintech, education, culture, and people-to-people connect.

They also discussed new areas with untapped potential for further enhancing collaboration in addition to exchanging views on regional and global issues.

India and the UAE share historically close and friendly ties. In recent years, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and UAE has deepened in a wide range of areas including political, trade, investment, connectivity, energy, technology, education, and culture. "The Crown Prince’s visit will further reinforce strong India-UAE bilateral relations and open avenues for partnership in new and emerging areas," the MEA stated.
